SC-BANK NT, one of the most successful projects of the SoftClub company, was included in the list of certified SWIFT products on October 30.
SC-BANK NT provides automation of operations, accounting, management, analytics of a universal multi-branch bank. At the moment, the project is completing the modification of international settlements within the framework of the technology of cross-border payments in the SWIFT gpi system.
SWIFT gpi is a new standard for global payments, by adopting which financial institutions will now send and receive funds quickly and safely anywhere in the world. This technology significantly improves cross-border payments through the correspondent banking network and increases their speed.
Every day, banks send more than $ 327 billion through gpi. In 2019, payments were made in the amount of $ 77 trillion. Over 70% of all payments to SWIFT are sent via gpi.
SC-BANK NT plans to adapt the changes in advance, since users of the SWIFT system are required to use the new format in industrial mode from November 16, 2020.
In October, the project management and staff held a webinar on the modification of international settlements within the framework of the technology of cross-border payments in the SWIFT gpi system.
The head of the banking and payment systems department Yuri Kaminsky, who moderated the webinar, commented on the modification process:
– Along with the modification of the SWIFT gpi software, we also made improvements for the SWIFT Universal Confirmations. We got access to a test bench, where we can test various scenarios, speaking on behalf of the sending or receiving bank.
SC-BANK NT has successfully passed the certification. Now, after passing the procedure for meeting the requirements of Universal Confirmations, we are the official vendor of SWIFT.
