SoftClub at PLUS-Forum Digital Uzbekistan

The 5th International PLUS-Forum Digital Uzbekistan took place in Tashkent, Uzbekistan on May 28 and 29. It is one of the most significant events for digital technology and financial innovation in Central Asia.

The forum once again confirmed its reputation as a leading platform for knowledge exchange and networking among key market players. This year, the event welcomed over 2000 delegates from 36 countries across Europe, the Middle East, South-East Asia and the Americas – including Germany, France, Italy, China, UAE, Singapore, the USA, Turkey, South Korea, the Baltic and the CIS.

SoftClub was proud to be part of the event. Our delegation – Executive Directors Mikhail Bunas and Sergey Leshkevich and STT Technical Director Andrey Ioda – highlighted the value of high-quality efficient networking that opens new opportunities for international cooperation.

As tradition, the forum opened with keynotes from regulators: the National Bank of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Digital Technologies, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the national payment system HUMO. Their presentations outlined strategic directions in payments, retail finance, crypto regulation and assets tokenization. Discussions also focused on the transformation of Uzbekistan’s financial system, the rise of e-commerce and measures to counter fraud and cyber threats.

Key global digitalization trends like DeFi, RWA and stablecoins were in the spotlight with participants exchanging insights on the future of crypto and cybersecurity.

A dedicated session was held on Islamic banking — a sector gaining momentum in Central Asia aiming to reach 4% of the global Islamic finance market. With a strong track record in digital banking across the region, SoftClub is ready to contribute its expertise toward achieving these strategic goals.
